Michael Ealy and Mark Webber Join “Stumptown”
Both Michael Ealy and Mark Webber have been cast in the ABC drama pilot Stumptown, Variety has learned.
Inspired by the graphic novel Stumptown by Greg Rucka, the project follows Dex Parios (Cobie Smulders), a strong, assertive, and unapologetically sharp-witted army veteran working as a P.I. in Portland, Oregon. With a complicated personal history and only herself to rely on, she solves other people’s messes with a blind eye toward her own.
Webber will play Grey McConnell, Dex’s best friend who has an unrequited crush on her. He’s been renovating an old-fashioned brew pub into a modern-sleek mixology joint and he’s hired Dex’s brother as his sole employee.
Ealy has been cast as Detective Miles Hoffman, a detective with the Portland Police Department. He’s looking for escaped convict Samuel Kane, who’s probably going to pay a visit to Grey McConnell any day now. (Source)

Cobie to Guest Star on “Arrested Development”
In season 4, Arrested Development cast some notable names to play a younger Lucille and George Sr.: Kristen Wiig and Seth Rogen. During the second half of season 5, you’ll once again see a pair of familiar faces assume the role of the Bluth grand matriarch and patriarch: Cobie Smulders and Taran Killam.
The How I Met Your Mother alum and former Saturday Night Live cast member — and real-life spouses — will guest-star in multiple episodes of Netflix’s ultra-dysfunctional family comedy, EW has learned. The exact circumstances in which you’ll meet this version of younger Lucille and George Sr. — who are played in present day by Jessica Walter and Jeffrey Tambor — is being kept under wraps.
Season 5’s guest roster also includes Ben Stiller, Isla Fisher, Christine Taylor, Maria Bamford, Henry Winkler, Judy Greer, Kyle Mooney, Dermot Mulroney, and Frances Conroy. The final half of the season streams on Mar. 15, with Buster (Hale) set to stand trial for the murder of Lucille 2 (Liza Minnelli). (Source)

Cobie to Star in ABC Drama “Stumptown”
Cobie has been cast in the lead role of the ABC drama pilot inspired by the graphic novel Stumptown by Greg Rucka, Variety has learned.
The project follows Dex Parios (Smulders), a strong, assertive, and unapologetically sharp-witted army veteran working as a P.I. in Portland, Oregon. With a complicated personal history and only herself to rely on, she solves other people’s messes with a blind eye toward her own.
Parios is further described as a whip-smart, hard-luck heroine you can’t help but get behind. Once a decorated Military Intelligence officer overseas, Dex is now back home in Portland, Oregon, unable to hold down a steady job, spinning her wheels, running up gambling debts, waiting for trouble to catch up with her.
