“Literally, Right Before Aaron” Acquired by Screen Media Films

Screen Media Films has acquired the North American rights to Ryan Eggold’s new comedy-drama Literally, Right Before Aaron, slated for a theatrical release later this year. The film, which had its world premiere at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival last month, stars Justin Long, Cobie Smulders, Ryan Hansen, John Cho, Kristen Schaal, Peter Gallagher, Dana Delany, Lea Thompson and Luis Guzman.

The seriocomic Literally, Right Before Aaron follows the aftermath of a love affair between Adam (Long) and his ex-girlfriend Allison (Smulders), when Adam gets word of Allison’s upcoming wedding. Realizing that he’s not quite ready to bid farewell to their relationship, Adam decides to attend the wedding in an embarrassing attempt to convince himself, and those around him, that he has moved on. “Friends From College: Pharmacy” Teaser

Cobie Smulders and Keegan-Michael Key really, really, really want to start a family together in Netflix’s forthcoming eight-episode comedy, Friends From College.

In the above exclusive, PG-13-rated clip from the half-hour series, which premieres on July 14, Smulders and Key’s married couple go to desperate lengths to get their hands on a certain fertility drug. Their methods include screaming and yelling, vandalism and, in Key’s case, a brazen sexual overture.

“Friends From College” Official Teaser Trailer

An Ivy League college education guarantees success, right? Maybe.

In Netflix’s new comedy series Friends From College, a group of friends who all attended Harvard together are now approaching their 40s and have enjoyed a wide range of success in both their work life and at home. Their various complex and interwoven relationships with each other will range from romantic entanglements and old friendships that may still be shifting. These adults are no longer who they once were after graduating, and nostalgia is hitting them hard. That means maybe catching up on some experiences that they’ve missed out on.

Cobie is not featured in this trailer, but it is definitely worth checking out anyway.

Friends From College comes from director and writer Nick Stoller and his wife and writing partner Francesca Delbanco, who both attended Harvard University in real life.

The eight-episode series stars Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage and Jae Suh Park.
